Hickory Students Arrive to a Special Welcome
It is Taco Tuesday, but that's not why Hickory Elementary Principal Keary Rininger and Assistant Principal Kayla Kuepper were extra festive during student drop off this morning.
Hickory students have raised more than $15,000 this year. As an incentive to hit the milestone — 65% of the way to their $23,000 goal — Mr. Rininger and Mrs. Kuepper told the students they'd dress up. Dress up they did. There were lots of smiles from students as they walked into school (and from parents in the drop-off line) to get this not-so-normal Tuesday started.
