Meet Our New Assistant Principal
Beginning in July, Hickory Elementary will have a new Assistant Principal. Kayla Kuepper has worked in Avon Schools since 2013, most recently as Instructional Coach at Maple Elementary.
A former Avon Schools District Teacher of the Year and two-time school level honoree (White Oak and Maple), Mrs. Kuepper has served in a wide variety of teaching and leadership roles:
- Instructional Coach
- Title 1 Teacher
- Third Grade Teacher
- First Grade Teacher
- School Safety Committee Member
- District RTI Committee
- Maple PBIS Tier 1 & Tier 2 Committees
- Family Advocates of Maple
- District ELA and Math Councils
- Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry Founding Board Member
- White Oak Elementary School Improvement Chair
- Avon Schools Technology Implementation and Planning Team
Mrs. Kuepper earned her MBA in Educational Leadership at the University of Indianapolis and her BA in Elementary Education at Ball State University.
The students and staff at Hickory Elementary are going to love having Mrs. Kuepper as Assistant Principal.
